Maritime Support

Robert Peel International provides specialist onboard security and passenger support services to the cruise industry, with particular expertise in short-haul routes where anti-social behaviour, alcohol-related incidents and onboard crime can present increased operational challenges.

Our experienced Venue Support Officers (VSOs) provide a professional, visible but non-intrusive presence onboard. Working alongside ship personnel, our teams engage proactively with passengers, identify potential issues at an early stage and intervene appropriately to prevent situations from escalating.

RPI personnel include highly trained former police officers and public-sector professionals with specialist experience in conflict management, tactical communication, de-escalation and working with alcohol-affected individuals.

Our approach focuses on early intervention, passenger care and proportionate incident management, helping cruise operators to:
